Rebate Glossary
ENERGY STAR® compliant – The
ENERGY STAR label identifies highly efficient products so consumers can
save money and help protect the environment. ENERGY STAR is promoted by
the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. All
Eurotech appliances have earned the ENERGY STAR label.
CEE qualified – The CEE is the Consortium for
Energy Efficiency, which has specifications that determine whether an
appliance is energy-efficient. See Consortium
for Energy Efficiency web site. More than 240 utilities and energy
organizations are currently participating in the Initiative.
TumbleWash program – Utilities throughout the
Northeast help to sponsor the TumbleWash program regionally. The purpose
of the TumbleWash program is to increase consumer awareness about the
benefits of TumbleWashers and provide rebates as incentives. See Betterwaytosave.com
